In the Gated Courses Demo site we will demonstrate what it would look like to a student to go through a student experience in this scenario:
The student is enrolled in 10 courses but progress through them will be controlled
The first course represents the "foundational course" - it is available, but everything else is blocked
Once the first course is completed we allow access to the second course.
Once the second course is completed they are allowed access to the third course. This demonstrates how you can control specific ordering
Once the first three courses are completed, we unlock a "certificate" course. This demonstrates unblocking a course when a series of courses has been completed.
Once the certificate is issued, we then unlock a "choose your own adventure" for the remaining courses. This demonstrates unblocking many courses.
A second and final certificate is issued only when the remaining courses are completed
