IFRAME Popup Resource
Updated over a year ago

The IFRAME Popup Resource will show any iframeable content as a popup when the resource card is accessible. Here are some use cases for this type of resource:

  • Embedding a form to collect some information

  • Embedding an opt-in form from your CRM that will deliver a lead magnet file

  • Embedding a calendar from any calendar provider to show your members upcoming content

  • Embed a booking form to schedule a 1-1 consulting call

As with other resources you can control if you want it to be shown always, teased with upgrade option, or only show if they are enrolled in a particular product.

ℹ️ IMPORTANT: The Resource Library section always needs to be on the same page and appear as the first section of the page. All resource types sections need to be listed below the main Resource Library section, otherwise the resource will not appear on the page.

How to add a IFRAME Popup Resource

  1. Add the IFRAME Popup section to your page

  2. Edit the settings for the section

  3. Open the Popup Content settings group:

    1. Choose the Popup Type:

      1. Slideout Left / Right has two options for how wide the popup is. These will slide out from the side you select

      2. Popup: This will open in the middle of the screen in a typical popup size

    2. Choose the heading for the popup

    3. Add the iFrame Url (this must be a full url and the hosting provider must allow iFrame - you will notice right away if this is not allowed)

    4. Optionally add buttons and links to the popup

  4. Open the Card Content and provide the details that will be shown on the card. Be sure to match the Categories that you have provided in the Resource Page from the previous step. Images are suggested for each resource to provide a visual guidance on what the resource is. Be sure to create your images with the same size so they all line up properly. If you wish to not use images, you can disable all of them from the Resource Page settings

  5. Configure the access level for the resource

    • Type of Access Restriction -

      • No restriction - always allow : this will always show the resource and it will be accessible to anyone (no login required)

      • Tease - show but restrict access : this will show the resource always but only allow if the logged in user has access to it based on the product enrollment status options

      • Restricted - show only if have access : this will only show the resource to the logged in user has access to it based on the product enrollment status options

    • If Tease or Restricted, then choose up to three products to check for enrollment status in the Allow access when enrolled in settings. These could be a course, a bundle or a community. If the user is enrolled in any of these products, then they will be granted access

    • Choose what you would like the action to be if the resource is set to "Tease" and the user does not have access

      • Change Link - this will change the link of the resource (for example to an upsell page)

        • Set the Upgrade link setting to a page

      • Resource Upgrade Popup - this will open a popup with the settings provided for this resource

        • Provide the details for Resource Popup Heading, Resource Popup Sub Heading and Resource Popup Button Text. The Upgrade Link setting will also be used

      • Library Upgrade Popup - this will open a popup with the settings provided in the Resource Library Page

  6. Provide a list of keywords that will aid the search algorithm. The keywords have a larger "weighting" than other text found in the heading, subheading and categories
